A Little Nectar

Small acts of care on difficult days

We could all do with a bit of nectar on an off day. Today I listened to a little boy eagerly tell me about his Bee Revival Kit. How he wears it every day around his neck. His spontaneous encounter with a tired bee. How he saved its life. He told me when he grows up he wants to be a conservationist. Clever kid. He reminded me that when passion is rooted in purpose, It’s so contagious. All day, his story has been with me. It made me wonder: what if we could wear a kit around our necks to assist others on tough days? What would that nectar look like? A few words of kindness?
A hello with a smile?
A moment to stop and listen? Perhaps we already carry more of it than we realise.
